Concerning the Palming of Cards
John Galsworthy stood out in 2021 first with his inclusion in Vanishing Inc.'s Experts at the Card Table series and now with Concerning the Palming of Cards, a follow-up to the amazing art of palming.
This book details John's approach to the art and artifice of card palming. There are several methods covered, most that any reader will have already been exposed to in one form or another but the descriptions are in-depth and multiple techniques are covered. Top palms, bottom palms, palm steals, and associated moves are presented to us and if this book includes anything like what his EATCT lecture did, I'm sure that there's a ton of great knowledge in these pages!
There's a QR code at the beginning of the book that gives you access to 12 video tutorials, one for each section in the book. They're short videos and I haven't watched them yet so I can't say whether they cover the variations of each move or not but even if not, having a video reference for each move is amazing!
As a shout-out to the author, after sharing a snapshot of the book as it arrived to my story on Instagram, John reached out via DM and offered to be a resource if I had any questions or anything, which is pretty awesome. I've been doing a lot of work with lateral palms, steals, and all-things-mucking for about a year and a half now so I might just take him up on that =]
Where to buy?
