Joker and the Thief: Street Edition
The Street Edition deck of playing cards by Joker and the Thief, a limited edition that was put out with the purpose of being used and abused! It's a luxury deck but with a more muted design than some of the others. From the tuck to cards, the color palette this deck brings is a deep black, gray, and metallic silver.
The tuck features a silver stamping across the entire thing, but rather than within the highlights like you'd find on a normal case they outline the highlights. It's really quite neat.
The cards, like other versions of this design, have a one-way back design that has a king in one corner and a jester in the other; but there are other beautifully designed elements that push it into a one-way design too.
The faces are fully custom too, everything from the pips, the pip colors, and the court cards. The courts and jokers are also highlighted with a silver metallic ink that compliments the design perfectly.
Like most J&T decks, Street Edition is printed on Crushed Performance stock with a Linen Glide finish so not only is it ready to go straight out of the box, but it has excellent durability no matter if you're a magician or cardist!
The deck consists of 56 cards:
- 52 playing cards
- Two non-identical jokers, one the Joker, the other the Thief
- Two ad cards
This deck was originally available via a Kickstarter campaign that was fully-funded in 2018.
