Joker and the Thief: Edition 5
This is a limited edition deck, limited to 1500 in total, celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Joker and the Thief brand.
Edition 5, the deck's official name, is elegantly wrapped in holly green Pantone inks that are complimented by deep red and copper metallic inks. The tuck features heavy embossing front and back that's coupled with a distinct satin copper foil which really set this deck up to be a special edition.
The cards, like previous versions, have a one-way back design that has a king in one corner and a jester in the other; but there are other beautifully designed elements that push it into a one-way design too.
The faces are fully custom too, everything from the pips, the pip colors, and the court cards. The courts and jokers are also highlighted with a beautiful metallic ink that really shines in the light.
Like most J&T decks, Edition 5 is printed on Crushed Performance stock with a Linen Glide finish so not only is it ready to go straight out of the box, but it has excellent durability no matter if you're a magician or cardist!
The deck consists of 56 cards:
- 52 playing cards
- Two non-identical jokers, one the Joker, the other the Thief
- Two ad cards
This deck was originally available via a Kickstarter campaign that was fully-funded in 2019.
